Volleyball |
I love having the opportunity to instill the love I have for the game of volleyball in our student athletes and watching them grow as both student athletes and individuals. I am a teacher and mom of two beautiful little girls. I love spending time at the beach, reading, anything Disney, and running.
Favorite memory: My favorite memory so far as a coach at Mahwah is the white out game we had against River Dell. The game was televised on MSG varsity and the entire gym was full of fans cheering as we beat River Dell in an incredibly exciting match. Experience: 12 years - I started playing volleyball my junior year of high school and then went on to play at Gettysburg College. I have been coaching volleyball at Mahwah for the past 12 seasons (7 as the JV coach and the past 5 as the Varsity coach). I also coached club volleyball for one season. Favorite Sport/Team: Volleyball and Basketball - New York Giants Hometown: Closter Passion (other than coaching): I love spending time with my family, reading, going to the beach, and running. |

Football |
Sports has always been a passion of mine, being able to help students achieve their goals in the classroom and in sport is truly rewarding. There is nothing like a team/group of people working together towards a common goal and achieving it.
Favorite memory: Going to MetLife stadium and playing for a sectional championship for the first is something I will never forget. Everything about the experience, walking into the stadium and onto the field was just breath taking. Watching our kids as they climbed up the walls to celebrate with their classmates after we won is something I will remember forever. Experience: I played football from first grade all the way through high school, and 4 years in college at KEAN University in NJ. I was a Defensive Back. Favorite Sport/Team: Football, NY Giants Hometown: Montvale, NJ Pascack Hills High School Class of 2002 Passion (other than coaching): I am passionate about fresh water fishing. nothing like hitting the lake in the boat and catching some bass. |

Cross Country |
I coach because I really value student athletes. I feel it is an important part of a young adult’s life to participate in some sort of athletics. Having fun is an important part of growth. While not every aspect of a sport is enjoyable, the overall experience should be fun. Having been a runner my whole life and I have tried to instill the love of running to my athletes. I can’t tell you how many kids who run cross country would say “Running? I don’t love running, but I love cross country.”
Favorite memory: Honestly, every season has a favorite moment. It's hard to pinpoint one moment in time. I love seeing student athletes grow throughout the years and achieve times or personal records that they never believed they could. I feel honored to be there in the moment when an athlete hits a mark they've been striving for over the seasons. Experience: 22 years - Head XC Coach. In High School I was a member of the Football, Wrestling and Spring track teams. After high school I attended and competed for Southern Connecticut State University. I was nationally ranked as an Intermediate hurdler three out of the four years I competed for Southern. I traveled to Texas for the NCAA Championships my sophomore and junior year and North Carolina my senior year. I was invited to compete at Penn Relays in the Intermediate hurdles all four years in college and my 4 X 400 team won the college championship my senior year. I started my coaching career in Newport Rhode Island at Rogers High School. After moving back to New Jersey, where I coached in West Milford for a season but found my home at Mahwah High School, where I have been coaching since 1999. Currently I am the Head Cross Country, but I was the Winter and Spring Head/Assistant Track Coach for many years. Favorite Sport/Team: I am not a professional sports fan of any sorts. The only interest I have in professional sports is Men's and Women's pole vault in the college and world platform. Hometown: West Milford Passion (other than coaching): I love to surf. I lived in San Diego and surfed for hours and hours. Now most of my surfing is done in Wildwood Crest where we own a small beach house. |

I still remember the impact that not only my coaches, but also my teammates made on me when I was growing up. I want to provide female athletes with the same opportunities to grow as individuals both athletically and personally. Being part of a team is a special bond and helps teach athletes a lot of skills that will benefit them later in life and I love having that opportunity to guide them. I went to James Madison University and got my Master's Degree in Exercise Science from Montclair State University. I am a huge sports fan and like to stay busy by playing any sport - I recently took up golf and have been trying to get better at that. I have a brother and sister and thanks to them am an aunt to 3 nieces and 2 nephews! :)
Favorite memory: Coaching 3 sports, there have been so many favorite memories over the years. Winning the state sectional title in 2016 and winning against IHA in the county tournament in PKs for soccer, coming back from a 15 point deficit in the 4th quarter and holding Ramsey scoreless to win a league game in basketball this year, and winning the league title for lacrosse are just a few that stick out. Besides the games, watching the girls grow and all of the laughs and memories at practices are amazing every year! Experience: 8 years - I have been coaching at Mahwah for 8 years. Prior to that I worked with a lot of youth programs through Northern Valley both coaching and training athletes. I got hurt my senior year of high school and subsequently have had 8 knee surgeries so I wasn't able to play in college. Favorite Sport/Team: I am a huge Yankees and Duke Basketball fan. Coach K is an inspiration to me as a coach. I also like the Giants and Rangers. Hometown: Norwood Passion (other than coaching): I really like to craft. I have a Cricut that I use to make a lot of different things. I even started an Etsy shop which I love doing. I also like to bake and spend time with my nephews and niece. |

Cheer |
I coach because I wanted to be part of an activity that allowed me to be more involved in the school community. I was so excited to become cheer coach. I love seeing the cheerleaders' growth throughout the season and the way the team continuously motivates and encourages each other.
Favorite memory: One of my favorite moments was senior night last year. The rain held off just long enough for the cheerleaders to perform their half time routine, and they delivered an amazing performance! It rained the entire second half of the game, but the cheerleaders kept cheering on the football players with their spirits high, and the band continued playing in the rain. The T-Birds won the game, and everyone was so excited! Favorite Sport/Team: I love watching the New York Red Bulls. My other favorite teams are the Giants and the Yankees. Passion (other than coaching): I enjoy yoga and the Peloton. I decorate competition dance costumes in my free time. I also love being at the beach. |
